It was like leaving a room and burning down the door, and maybe even parading around the world listing all the obscene reasons as to why the door needed to be burned down. That was more or less what the Sussex duo did with their Royal exit.
If the Oprah tell-all didn’t sting too badly, there was ‘Spare,’ and if ‘Spare’ was child’s play, then there was Netflix’s ‘Harry and Meghan.’
Alongside these ones are numerous interviews and podcasts where they more or less stoked the fire until it turned into a blaze.
Now that things have gotten this heated, a royal expert is suggesting that maybe they’re now realizing they shouldn’t have been so crude with their exit.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s arrival in America was more or less a Hollywood dream come true.
At the start, at least. Netflix offered them a lucrative contract, Spotify hit them with a mouthwatering sum, and if those two weren’t enough, Penguin Random House was lined up with a sweet publishing deal.
Yup, it was all hunky-dory. Tell the world how mean the Royal Family were to you guys and make a lot of cash on the side. It could literally be what those ancestors meant by quoting “to kill two birds with one stone.”
Sadly, as fast the glory came, it waned nearly at the same pace. Spotify backed out of their deal, with one of their Chiefs even directing some choice words at the duo, and Netflix majorly downsized their contract after it expired.
Now, Meghan is holding the reins trying to grow a business, while Harry wishes people are still interested in what he has to say.
Writing in her Opinion Column for The Express, Alice Liberty noted that, for the Sussexes, “several ventures have stumbled, public enthusiasm has cooled and, perhaps most tellingly, reconciliation is suddenly back on the agenda.”
Weighing in on how Harry has been single-mindedly pushing for reconciliation in recent times, Liberty wrote, “And that matters, because if Hollywood isn’t delivering unlimited opportunities, the appeal of reconnecting with the world’s most famous family suddenly becomes a lot easier to understand.”
She further observed that Meghan seems to have suddenly gotten on board with Harry’s reconciliation moves, especially since she’s willing to accompany him on a scheduled UK visit next year.
Driving the nail in, Liberty added, “You do not spend years airing grievances only to suddenly talk about healing unless something has changed.”
And the thing we expect has changed is the amount of money flowing in.
