Prince Harry And Meghan’s Petty And Deliberate Decision Called Out By Royal Expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have dialed back their drama, issuing no personal statements in recent weeks. This doesn’t mean that everything they do – or do not do – isn’t still dissected to death.

In the latest round of “what did Harry and Meghan do,” a royal expert opined that their silence is “deliberate.”

This year alone, Harry and Meghan have been accused of overshadowing important Royal Family events with their announcements.

For one thing, Meghan chose to launch American Riviera Orchard’s Instagram page on the same day Prince William and Harry honored their mother via the Princess Diana Awards.

As if this isn’t enough – and it never is really with the Sussex couple – Nacho Figueras, one of Harry’s polo friends, teased Meghan’s lifestyle brand’s dog treats, on the same day as the King’s Birthday parade.

The occasion was made even more significant because it marked the Princess of Wales’ first return to public duties following her surgery and cancer diagnosis.

These days, the royal family has undertaken even more major projects – King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Australia and Samoa trip and Prince William’s Homewards documentary – and the controversial duo have refrained from displaying their usual attention-grabbing antics.

News.com.au journalist Bronte Coy believes that this new approach from the couple is likely intentional.

She said: “I do think it is very deliberate that they didn’t say or release anything, really. Because these things have been in the diary for so long – The King’s tour [of Australia] and William’s homelessness project.”

The thing is, with the previous mis-steps undertaken by the Sussex brand, Coy predicts even more happening in the future. Moving forward, whether they knowingly choose an important Royal Family date to make an announcement or not, Coy believes they’ll continue to be seen as “petty.”

“[I] think there was an announcement that day from the Sussexes. Even if it is not deliberate from them that they’ve been released at the same time, the optics are that it’s quite petty.”
This is coming after insiders revealed that Harry and Meghan have decided to go their separate ways professionally.
