Prince Harry Asks Prince William To Be His Best Man At His Wedding

It looks like Prince Harry has found his best man for his upcoming wedding to former Hollywood actress Meghan Markle. And according to reports, it will be none other than his brother and life-long confidante, Prince William. The Duke of Cambridge is returning the favor after Harry served as his best man during his royal wedding to Kate Middleton back in 2011.

Initially, Prince William was due to be at the FA Cup final on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding day but will now stay in Windsor for the ceremony. Kensington Palace shared a cheeky photo of the two young princes dressed in British “Bobby” gear in a snap taken during their childhood. The caption read, “The Duke of Cambridge is honored to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, on May 19th.”

Now as far as who will be the maid of honor, Meghan Markle has not made that announcement yet. And while a lot of people are hoping that it will be Kate Middleton, at this point, it seems very unlikely. The Duchess of Cambridge just gave birth to her third child, a healthy baby boy, this week. And while Meghan and Kate are growing closer every day, they’ve only known each other for about a year. There’s a good chance that Meghan might ask one of her close Hollywood friends to be her maid of honor instead. Watch this space!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to get married at Windsor Castle on May 19th. Many media outlets are already calling it the social event of the year. The countdown is officially on!
