Prince Harry Blames Himself For The Markle Family Drama
The couple discussed some of the events that had occurred prior to their 2018 wedding and maybe even the reason why Thomas wasn’t there.
As many royal fans know by now, Thomas Markle was accused of working with the paparazzi to stage a photoshoot a week before Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding in 2018.
During that time, Meghan’s contact with her father lessened and before she knew it, he ended up in the hospital after he suffered a heart attack. Unfortunately, Thomas never made it to the wedding and Meghan was instead walked down the aisle by King Charles.
In one text message, Meghan wrote, “You haven’t returned any of our 20+ calls since we all spoke on Saturday morning; which only adds to the hurt you’ve been causing.”
In the docuseries, the Duke of Sussex said that none of this would have happened if it weren’t for him. Harry said, “She had a father before this, and now she doesn’t have a father. And I shouldered that. If Meg wasn’t with me, then her dad would still be her dad.”

What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
Unfortunately, there was also plenty of drama on the royal family’s side of things, too. Elsewhere in the docuseries, Prince Harry also said that he and Meghan tried to talk to his royal family members about all of the racist abuse that she was getting from the press, but unfortunately no one was willing to help.
Harry even said that some of his family members thought it was a “rite of passage” for Meghan to have gotten the treatment that she did even though Harry strongly felt as though he needed to protect his wife.
Harry said, “Some of the members of the family were like, ‘But my wife had to go through that so why should your girlfriend be treated any differently? Why should you get special treatment? Why should she be protected?’ I said, ‘The difference here, is the race element.”

Harry wake up. Don’t blame yourself Megain wanted to be a Royal so she should’ve realised she would be followed by paparazzi etc as a person in the limelight so she should’ve gotten over the racist comments which weren’t that bad she made more of it than necessary This is my opinion. And her father was very ill treated as the rest of the family. No matter what he should’ve walked her down the aisle or attended the wedding service if able as he was not well and in hospital as we know but she put stop to that and your dad stepped in or she would’ve shown off ev n mire and walked in the church aisle by herself. Who does that !!!!! Anyway it’s all passed and she should reach out to him why don’t you? Your family did everything for her it’s just that she wasn’t treated as number one and has blamed everyone else for her selfishness. Who does she think she is. You are not to blame for any of this it is her problem and selfish attitude. This is my opinion
