According to the Daily Mail, Harry is waging a legal war against the Home Office for the same protection as the queen. It was also reported that he claimed he would be willing to pay for it, but the Home Office shot that down as a falsehood.

Harry says, “He wants to bring his children to visit from across the Atlantic, but ‘does not feel safe’ when visiting under the current security arrangements, the court was previously told.”
Harry has thrown his US protection team under the bus by saying they cannot keep his family safe. Now the help knows how his family feels.
The first hearing in the case occurred Friday, at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, and Harry didn’t bother to show up.

The preliminary proceedings were mostly private and in a public part the judge summarized the four grounds forming the basis of the duke’s legal challenge, including an alleged “over rigid application of the policy” and a “failure” to take into account “relevant considerations.”
“The grounds also claim that conclusions reached were ‘unreasonable’ and that ‘insufficient information’ was provided in relation to the Ravec policy and ‘those involved in the Ravec decision,” the judge said.

Shaheed Fatima QC represented the duke and gave the judge two letters, “on the membership of Ravec.”
She said, “we’ve been asking about the membership,” later adding that this would relate to , “the relevance of the claimant’s knowledge about who he was dealing with and in what capacity.”
Fatima stated that “we now know” that the Cabinet Office is a member of Ravec and stated that Harry, “previously had ‘correspondence’ with Sir Mark Sedwill, a senior civil servant who served as Cabinet Secretary from April 2018 to September 2020.”
Harry’s latest family and country bashing behavior comes during the queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.
