The new royal biography Finding Freedom is painting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a certain light and I would not describe it as a particularly flattering one. Not if excerpts published this weekend about Harry’s hotheaded plan to “ambush” the Queen is indicative of his behavior in general.
According to the book, the disenchanted pair spent their Christmas 2019 retreat in Canada mulling over the ways in which they could leave the monarchy high and dry, simply abandon them without giving them any other choice. It says a lot that a relatively newly loved up couple would spend one of the biggest holidays in the world, on a vacation getaway, plotting not how to have a good time but how to divorce his family.
When the time came to drop their bomb, Harry emailed Her Majesty and Prince Charles with the news that they no longer wanted to be a part of a family tradition that goes back centuries.
Then, when they landed in Britain they couldn’t get the ok to interrupt whatever it was that the Monarch was doing at the moment and was told to wait. Apparently, Harry is not used to waiting, or taking no for answer, because his next thought was not to respect his grandma’s schedule but to ambush the 94-year-old woman.
Does Harry Have A Lack Of Patience Or Is He Just Used To Getting His Way?
It wasn’t enough that he couldn’t wait to drop the Megxit bomb in person, he had to email the devastating, life-changing news. Then, when he wasn’t allowed to barge in on grandma to blather on about Megxit, he reportedly “toyed with the idea” of driving straight from the airport to Sandringham to have it out with Her Majesty.
Do You See What I Mean About The Book Painting The Markle’s In An Unflattering Light?
For some reason or another, Harry ultimately cooled down and decided against causing a scene and breaching royal protocol.
The Book Is Meant To Tell The Real Story Of The Un-Royals Harry And Meghan
The book’s authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand were told by an inside source, “At this point, they felt like they had brought up the subject enough times with family members over the past year and they were fed up with not being taken seriously.” Or perhaps no one wanted to listen to them?

Will the new bio blow up the royal’s relationships even further?
The biography is written by Scobie and Durand who are said to be fans of the couple to the point that they have been described as cheerleaders. Their goal was to “correct the record” about Heghan and on August 11, when the book debuts, we shall see if they succeeded or not.
