Prince Harry Desperately Trying To Block A Meghan Markle Tell-all Memoir

Prince Harry might have paved the way with ‘Spare,’ but he is reportedly determined to keep his wife Meghan Markle from going down the same road.

According to a source, Meghan Markle is really looking forward to telling her side of the story that she feels many people have misconstrued. The one problem is? Harry is reportedly not hearing it.

When the Sussexes left the Royal Family for a life in America, telling their side of the story was some of their most defining moments in the years that followed.

From the Oprah bombshell sit-down to ‘Spare’ and Netflix’s ‘Harry and Meghan,’ the couple made sure to tell their story in as many formats as possible, in the purported bid to ensure that people understand the decisions they made.

The thing is, even after all this multimedia venting, Meghan doesn’t feel that her story is done. In fact, according to a source, there are several parts of the story that she would love to set straight.

A source told RadarOnline that Meghan “feels an intense pull to put her own account on record.” The reason for this is that “there are entire chapters of her life – particularly during her time within the royal institution. That has either been misunderstood, distorted, or told solely through other people’s perspectives.”

It is Meghan’ belief that “a memoir would finally allow her to speak without filters. And clarify the narrative in her own words.”

Story aside, publishers are reportedly hungry for the memoir, so there’s also the money element to consider. “From a publishing standpoint, the appetite for a Meghan memoir is enormous,” the source said, adding, “And that only reinforces her sense that now is the moment.”

But Meghan isn’t doing this for the sake of carrying on a relentless crusade, or so the source says. “She doesn’t see it as stirring the pot for the sake of drama. she sees it as reclaiming her story.”

Remember, this is happening at a time when Harry has made it public that he is seeking reconciliation with his family. Won’t a Meghan tell-all memoir prevent that?

For this reason, he is reportedly pushing back on his wife with everything he has. “In his mind, it wouldn’t just reopen old wounds. It could permanently close the door on any hope of reconciliation with his family.”
