Prince Harry Determined to Win William Back – But Has the Royal Rift Gone Too Far?

According to insiders, Prince Harry is saying never say never when it comes to his desire to reconcile with his big brother, Prince William.

While we don’t know whether things will ever be as sweet as the old times, royal expert Jennie Bond is convinced Harry’s persistence may chip away William’s anger and resistance, in time.

Prince Harry Extends King Charles’ Reconciliation Plans To Prince William

This July, Harry and his whole family traveled from the US to the UK to be briefly reunited with King Charles. This reunion happened in the presence of Queen Camilla.

Apparently encouraged by the results of the brief meeting, Harry is taking his reconciliation efforts one step further to include his brother.

His efforts, per insiders, are actually not a solo one, as King Charles is also determined to see his sons reunited before he goes from this world.

While there is currently no expectation Harry could fix his relationship with William to the extent that he is welcomed back, experts are predicting his tenacity may prove too overwhelming for William to simply ignore.

Former BBC royal correspondent, Jennie Bond commented on this, saying, “William, as far as we can see, seems set on concentrating on his own family and his work without the angst of dealing with his rift with Harry.”

“But, if Harry does start to come to the UK more often and to see their father, it’s going to become increasingly hard for William to ignore the situation.”

While she thinks it’s possible for the Princess of Wales to act as peacemaker, she, however, cautioned, “But only if she is satisfied that it is something William wants.

At this stage, there is absolutely no indication that this is the case. However, circumstances and feelings can change with time and so, as I always say, ‘never say never’.”

Weighing in on King Charles’ stance in the whole situation, Bond said, “There’s no doubt that Charles would very much like things to be different. And it does seem as if Harry is pretty intent on patching up his troubled relationship with his father.”
