Prince Harry undertook a visit to the United Kingdom and stirred up more speculation about his fractured ties with the royal family.

Royal commentator Neil Sean discussed the situation on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Tuesday night. He said that jealousy followed Harry from a young age and continues to shape his decisions.
According to Sean, “the problem with Prince Harry is, well, really from the off, he’s been a difficult person. Continually jealous of his elder brother, continually jealous of the relationship that William had because of the way royal protocol works with our late and wonderful monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.”
From Sean’s perspective, William learned to channel his challenges into stability. Surrounded by loyal friends, a devoted wife, and three children, William built a steady life. Meanwhile, Harry often slipped into a victim role. Sean even suggested that Diana might have taken a firmer approach in guiding her younger son.

Now living in Montecito with Meghan Markle, Harry expected wealth and freedom to fill the gap. Once again, Sean compared Harry to the Duke of Windsor. And, he noted that the shine of being an ex-royal eventually wears off.
In Sean’s opinion, he feels that Harry returned to Britain partly to pull attention away from William. In his words, Harry is “allegedly seething with jealousy that William without sort of much effort can command the British press.”
Still, Harry’s trip gave him valuable exposure. Sean claimed Harry managed to sit down with King Charles, thereby obtaining the headlines he wanted. Even if the meeting was short, it allowed him to reshape the narrative. Allegedly, the next step in his mind is persuading William to meet him.

A Family Still Divided
Sean reported that Harry gave Prince William the “option” to connect during this trip, but the Prince of Wales showed no interest. Notably, other senior royals also continue to keep their distance. “His Majesty the King is his father. He really has no choice. But in Harry’s mind, it won’t be long before William crumbles,” Sean opined.
For now, Prince Harry appears determined to keep returning to the UK, using charity work and positive coverage to push the idea that reconciliation is inevitable. Whether William agrees or not remains to be seen.
