Is it true that Queen Elizabeth told off her grandson Prince Harry for turning the air blue over the infamous wedding tiara fiasco? According to The Mail on Sunday it is true and the occasion was Harry mouthing off to one of his grandmother’s aides.

When the Queen’s dresser and confidante Angela Kelly could not meet Meghan Markle’s unexpected demand to come to Buckingham Palace so that she could try on a tiara, Harry as so miffed that he reportedly flew into a rage.

Apparently protocol dictates that an appointment must be made to access the Queen’s jewels, in this case, the tiara that Me-gain wanted to wear. When told of the proper procedure hot-headed Harry used offensive language about Kelly. But that’s not all, he pressured aides to make the dresser travel to London and unlock the cabinet where the tiara is kept.

When Kelly learned of the offensive language she told her employer the Queen who was none too pleased. The queen summoned her swearing grandson to a private meeting where he was reported, “put firmly in his place,’ according to a royal source describing Harry as, “downright rude.”

During his verbal rampage, Harry allegedly accused Kelly of, “deliberately dragging her feet,” instead of immediately dropping all and rushing to heed Meghan’s command.

According to the authors of the new bio on the couple, Finding Freedom, Harry was sure that some of them, “old guard,” at the Palace, “simply didn’t like Meghan and would stop at nothing to make her life difficult.”

I don’t know about you, but if my biggest difficulty in life was securing a tiara fitting, I would count myself blessed and keep my mouth shut.

An insider said, “Meg had flown her hairdresser over from Paris for a hair practice and they needed the tiara. Angela Kelly said she couldn’t come to London and Harry went ballistic. He was furious at the treatment of his then-fiancée. Such a snub.”

In turn, “Harry was very quick to let everybody know of his anger and frustration. He let lots of people know that he was unhappy. He tried to get what Meghan wanted by ringing others to put pressure on Angela to bend the rules.”

He probably could have chosen someone meeker than Kelly to pick on. She is nicknamed AK47 because of her unbending manner and she is a member of the Royal Victorian Order. And apparently she carries a lot of weight with his equally unbending grandmother.
