Prince Harry formed a fast friendship with Kate Middleton after his brother Prince William tied the knot. And the trio enjoyed getting together. Famously fond of children, Harry also doted on William’s and Kate’s kids.

But then Harry met Meghan Markle. And even before their wedding day, Meghan clashed with Kate. As a result, William also became annoyed with Markle. And Kate became increasingly distant from Harry. Kate Middleton feels incredibly hurt after learning about Prince Harry and Meghan’s Netflix documentary series, Harry & Meghan, say insiders. And one source shared that Princess Kate believes that Harry betrayed her. Because she and her brother-in-law once enjoyed such a close friendship, it hurts even more, said the insider via Page Six.

“Kate feels hurt and betrayed that Harry would do this to her, too,” shared the source. “Especially as the pair used to be so close.” And her husband Prince William feels just as shocked. However, don’t look for William to offer up his views on that Netflix documentary, according to the insider.

William does not plan “to give his side of the story or openly retaliate,” said the source. And the insider summed up, William has decided to stay “dignified and getting on with the job.” However, another source dropped a bombshell about if Kate and William viewed the Netflix documentary. 

Prince William And Princess Kate – To View ‘Harry & Meghan’ Netflix?

Because of those insights about the couple’s reactions, some assumed that Kate and William watched every scene in Harry’s and Meghan’s Netflix documentary. Wrong. And an insider spilled, “William and Kate’s aides have briefed them on the show.” However, “don’t expect the couple to sit down in their cottage with a bowl of popcorn to tune in themselves,” added the source. 

And the rift between Harry and Meghan on one side and William and Kate on the other has grown. For instance, Harry claimed that William broke a pact to not leak stories to the press. And Harry also alleged that leaving England established a “wedge” between the brothers.

But Prince Harry also gave some examples. And he pointed to a 2020 report about Harry and William feuding. Harry said he did not agree to a joint statement “squashing the story about [William] bullying” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex out of the family. And in his Netflix documentary, Harry got blunt.

Meghan Markle Throws Shade At Prince William

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t hold back in the documentary series. For instance, Harry complained, “No one had asked me permission to put my name to a statement like that.” And Meghan offered up her own shade as well.

For example, when the royal family commented on the lawsuit over her father’s letter, Meghan talked about William. And she said to Harry, “It’s your brother.” The Duchess of Sussex then promised, “I’m not going to say anything about your brother” just before throwing shade.

“But it’s so obvious [he authorized the statement],” said Markle with well-aimed shade. The Duchess and Duke of Sussex left their responsibilities as senior royal family members in January 2020. And they made their decision to quit official in February 2021. For now, Meghan and Harry live in California. And they co-parent their two children, a son Archie, age 3, and a daughter Lilibet, 1.
