While there are no reports indicating that there is a target on Meghan’s back, it seems like her husband still has a reason to feel paranoid each and every time they step outside.

It could be that Prince Harry still feels very insecure and is worried that his wife might die in the same way that his own mother Princess Diana did back in1997.

And while the Princess of Wales certainly wasn’t assassinated, there have been theories suggesting that someone might have orchestrated her car crash that led to her death. 

The Duke of Sussex has apparently looked into his mother’s files and strongly believes that someone had something to do with her death. In other words, it wasn’t just another accident.

Prince Harry now lives with the fear that his wife’s safety is in jeopardy just the same. That could be why he is so hesitant to bring Meghan and their two children back to the UK with him. That’s why he’s also been fighting so hard to get his family’s royal protection reinstated.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “I think Harry’s biggest concern about returning is anyone trying to attack him or his family because there is a love-hate relationship between him and the British public.”

The insider added, “He hasn’t got the protection here. I’m sure it’s part of the reason he doesn’t want to return and he is worried about any assassination attempts on him or his family.”

Now, whether or not this is all true remains to be seen. So far Prince Harry has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
