Apparently, the Duke of Sussex recently sent a note to his sister-in-law telling her how lovely she looked and how proud he was of her appearance at Wimbledon, despite her ongoing cancer battle.

As many royal fans already know, this was Kate who has mostly been keeping at home and avoiding any and all public appearances and royal engagements.

However, she did attend the Trooping the Colours in June and was also there to hand out the trophy for the Men’s Finals at Wimbledon this year.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Even though it’s an awkward situation for all of them, they both think the sooner they can put this all behind them, the better.”

“Harry can’t believe it ever got to this point – he genuinely thought that by now they’d have found a way to reconcile – and he hates to think of it continuing. He needs to find a way to fix it.”

What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?

And while Harry’s made it no secret that he misses having Kate Middleton in his life, his wife Meghan Markle wants him to stop obsessing over her.

But at the same time, Harry wants Meghan to reach out to the royal family to start the process of mending their broken relationship with them.

The insider also said, “It’s a sensitive subject, because Harry doesn’t want to order Meghan to do anything.”

“But the situation with his family has reached the point where he feels like the only way back is to have Meghan reach out to Kate to try to mend fences.”

“He’s gone over so many different scenarios in his head, but he’s reached a dead end. The only thing that’s left is for Meghan to have a go at fixing things.”
