Prince Harry Is Missing This Piece Of Himself

June 1 marks the day that the man formerly known as Prince (just call him Harry) lost something near and dear to his heart or something detested—depending on who you talk to.

Following the spectacle, he created with Megxit, as of June 1, neither he nor wife Meghan Markle can use the word “royal” to refer to themselves. Meghan was royal for a brief epoch of her life, but it was Harry’s birthright.

Megxit also entails that neither Harry nor Meghan are allowed to perform duties on behalf of Queen Elizabeth.

But the great news about Megxit is that Meghan is now free to be whoever and whatever they want, as long as they don’t try to slip the word “royal” into their LinkedIn profiles.

Megxit Has A One-Year Review Period

Megxit has a built-in one-year review period. Is this the same thing as a buyer’s remorse clause? That if their grand proclamation to be financially independent doesn’t work out they can return to The Firm and suck the juice out of the word “royal” till they fill their coffers to the gills?

When they jetted out of the U.S. to find freedom, it was assumed that they would use the word “royal” in their branding so as to pull in more bucks as VIPS rather than commoners.

But, a statement on their Sussex Royal website says, “given the specific UK government rules surrounding the use of the word ‘Royal’, it has been therefore agreed that their non-profit organization will not utilize the name ‘Sussex Royal’ or any other iteration of ‘Royal.’”

Royal watcher Robert Hardman told Radio 4 that the decision about the brand name was a “setback” for the couple.

We know this to be true because the thirsty pair had already tried to trademark the Sussex Royal brand name.

Hardman said, “They have spent a great deal of money registering the trademarks.” It’s okay though, even though they are not royal generous Tyler Perry is permitting them to live in his mansion until they pay for one of their own.

There Is A Grand Word Game Being Played By The Royals And Non-Royals

The couple played it off though, coolly stating they are, “focused on plans to establish a new non-profit organization, given the specific UK Government rules surrounding the use of the word royal, it has been therefore agreed that their non-profit organization will not be named Sussex Royal Foundation.”

Instead, they named their non-profit group Archewell.
