Prince Harry Is Reportedly Worried His Memoir Will Spark A New War With The Royals

Prince Harry’s memoir will be released later this year to coincide with the holidays. It is said that the memoir, which is still currently unnamed, is already finished and out of his hands.

However, close sources claim that the Prince is worried the contents of the book may spark fresh unrest between him and his family.

Last year, Harry’s spokesperson announced that the Duke, 37, has signed a multi-million dollar deal with Penguin Random House to write several memoirs, some of which are rumored will be released only when the Queen is gone.

At the time of the announcement, the release date was slated for later this year and after a few minor delays, the publishers have confirmed that the book is on track for a late 2022 release.

Harry, who made it clear that the reason he left the Royal Family was because of the lack of privacy – comparing royal life as a cross between “the truman show and living in a zoo” – will be writing a “wholly truthful” account of his life. The memoir will explore his younger years, as well as the man he has become.

When news of the memoir broke, it was reported that Prince Harry hadn’t deemed it necessary to alert certain members of his family before the news hit the press. At the moment, there’s no confirmation that the contents of the book will lead to frostier relations between the Sussexes and the Royal Family, but insiders are saying it’s possible.

For this reason, Harry is said to be worried about what he could and couldn’t write.

According to a source associated with the couple, Harry is “worried sick” his upcoming memoir “will lead to a new war with the royals”.

The source told Heat magazine that “Meghan is urging him to tell his truth and not hide what really happened” while he worries about what he should include. They added: “Every passage is being revised again and again. Harry keeps remembering new things he wants to include, and then suddenly panics about toning down certain anecdotes.”

Harry’s upcoming memoir will be an “intimate” account of his life: the highs and lows of growing up in the public eye, and the pain of his mother’s tragic death.

A publishing source revealed: “The manuscript has been finished and gone through all of the legal processes. It’s gone and out of Harry’s hands. The publishing date has been pushed back once but it is on track for the end of the year.”
