Prince Harry Labelled Bitter After Promotional Interview For Memoir Finds Him Rehashing Old Grievances

Who wrote a “wholly truthful” account of their life just to go on a promotional interview and unbury old hatchets, which, if we’re being honest, have been unburied more times than is actually needed. Prince Harry is who!

The 38-year-old’s interviews with CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ITV’s Tom Bradby shows that he’s not ready to move on from his complaining and focus on building a new life for himself and his family. I mean, you’d think it would be easy for him to do. He’s actually an ocean away from his royal relations and still he won’t drop the bone?

Jan Moir began her piece for the Daily Mail by describing how Christmas must have been for the Windsors following the death of the Queen. After a major reshuffling of power within the monarchy, they must have been looking forward to a New Year that’s different from the last two years following the Oprah interview, which was when Harry and Meghan’s drama really did kick into overdrive.

But the little breath of fresh air was quickly soiled by Harry once again popping up on TV to tell people why his family is very unlikable and why he was left with a massive level of generational baggage. Most of his complaints, this time round, revolved around the hierarchy within the monarchy and the lack of interest in his family’s side to reconcile.

Speaking on the interview’s teaser, Moor wrote: “Only a few snippets of the two upcoming television interviews have been released: a wisp of chat with Anderson Cooper for CBS in America and a sentence or two with Tom Bradby for ITV in the UK. Yet much can be gleaned from these teasers. Mood, strategy and intent, along with depth of delusion and a sneak peek of pique? It is all in there.”

“And what is immediately clear is that when the book is published next week and the interviews are broadcast in their entirety, the royals should not expect a barrel of laughs. Or even a slap on the back, a thank you, a belated gift of condolence or an apology.”

Why? Moir believes that even though Harry wore “good-guy sweater and smart shirt”, he “radiates pure threat.“

“His voice is level but his eyes are cold and glassy. Sometimes he even sounds like someone who has joined a cult — or perhaps walked onto the bridge of the Starship Enterprise.”

One of the things that particularly stands out in the interview is Harry saying that the Palace was silent and wouldn’t defend him and his wife like they defended other members of the family.

It’s funny because I remember Buckingham Palace, and even Prince William himself, defending the couple against negative and untrue stories in the press. And this is iconic because the Palace certainly did not release a statement to protect poor little Prince Louis, 4, when people on the internet abused him as “naughty”.

And yet our man-child thinks the world should stop spinning everytime someone writes something negative about him and wifey.

Prince Harry Lacks Understanding Of His Behavior, Jan Moir Claims

“They have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile,” must be among some of the most dramatic words Harry told Bradby.

“It was hard not to bark with laughter at this. The Duke of Sussex (and the Duchess, let’s be fair) has spent much of the past three years publicly and repeatedly criticizing his family, accusing them of cruelty, neglect, racism, lies, jealousy and worse.”

She continued: “And some things that have been said can never be unsaid, so it seems little wonder that the King and the Prince of Wales are not in the mood to reach out to their chief tormentor with open arms, even if he cannot understand why.”

Moir went on to note that Harry seems largely out of touch with how catastrophic his behavior actually is.

“Every action has a consequence and every position of power has its own unique responsibility. And for someone who espouses the merits of therapy, Prince Harry’s lack of insight about his own behaviour is staggering.”
