Prince Harry Left Meghan Markle At Home While He Honored Princess Diana

British royal family news divulges that Prince Harry presented The Diana Award at the 2024 Concordia Summit on Monday morning. On September 23 he joined The Diana Award’s CEO, Dr. Tessy Ojo, and together they headed up a discussion with Chiara Riyanti Hutapea Zhang of Indonesia and Christina Williams of Jamaica, two recipients of The Legacy Award.

Harry told Williams and Zhang: “You guys are leading the charge and will hopefully break down the stigma to be able to continue these conversations.”

He went on to tell them that Diana “would be incredibly proud of you guys. Your activism [and] your compassion are two things that are so true to how my mum lived her life and what she believed in.”

Diana died in a Paris car crash in 1997, orphaning Harry and his older brother Prince William. Harry added that “The courage that you have gives me hope because every single one of us need courage in order to really move the dial and create positive change in today’s world, probably more so now than ever.”

Harry, a high school graduate, informed the crowd that if he had his way the words “mental health” would never be uttered again, only the phrase “mental fitness.”

When Harry turned 40 on September 15 he reportedly was given access to millions of dollars bequeathed to him by the Late Queen Mum.

Curiously he left his wife Meghan Markle at home while he tours the country. Harry is in NYC while the United Nations General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week take place.

Royal Family News – Harry Believes In Changing the Lexicon

A spokesperson said that while he is in town, Harry will “advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic activities” which may or may not include Meghan Markle’s jam and dog collar venture.

This weekend he will be in London at the WellChild awards ceremony, sans The Claw who was too sick to attend Kevin Costner’s high-profile bash this weekend.

In contrast, Prince William will be at the Plaza Hotel on Tuesday for his Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit.

In other news, beloved Princess Catherine has shared that she is cancer-free and through with her preventative chemotherapy treatments which should mean a return to public facing duties.
