Prince Harry May Have Deceived Meghan Markle In This Manner

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage has been wrought with a lot of controversies and speculations. On one hand, we have a woman who is yet to introduce her husband to her father nearly seven years and two children later.

On the other, we have a man who has become completely estranged from his family shortly after marrying the aforementioned woman. It gets a bit funny when you remember that Harry, in way of consoling Meghan for her lack of relations, had openly promised that his family will become hers.

Now, Meghan’s got more family members than he does because at least she’s still got her mother. If rumors are to be believed, Harry doesn’t even have cousin Princess Eugenie by his side anymore.

And yet, maybe Meghan Markle failed to adapt to the Royal Family climate because Harry did a poor job of preparing her to be successful.

Meghan Markle Reportedly Thought Prince Harry Was A “Billionaire” Prior To Their Marriage

Remember that time during Oprah’s tell-all when Meghan recounted meeting the Queen in, what, skinny ripped jeans? She remembered being mortified that she was instructed to curtsy to the now-late sovereign, thinking, “Harry, isn’t this your grandma?”

Well, if you put two and two together you would see a man who, more or less, wasn’t very upfront with his bride-to-be about the stuffy nature of the institution she’s marrying into.

According to royal expert Esther Krakue, the cultural clash and her unreadiness for the new role might have contributed to the difficulties the Duchess faced as a senior royal.

Some part of it might have been borne of the misconceptions she had about Harry, with Krakue speculating that the former American actress probably thought Harry was a “billionaire,” and if not a billionaire then a well-off millionaire, prior to their marriage.

Meghan is said to have considered Prince Harry a ‘billionaire’ back when they first married. Only later is she to have realized she “was marrying a millionaire with, like, sort of a reduced status.”

“That might have been not appealing eventually. But also I just, I don’t think she fully understood or was even interested in what the role was supposed to become.”

This may be closer to the truth, because Meghan herself has openly admitted that she didn’t necessarily receive training for the role, and that she basically just hit the ground running.
