Prince Harry & Meghan Fail: Mimicking Barack & Michelle Obama

British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are sorely in need of role models. They could do worse than Barack and Michelle Obama.

In fact, there are several instances in which the traitors seemed to emulate the power couple. Here are the most glaring examples of the Markles mimicking the Obamas.

Royal Family News – Meghan Needs A Role Model

Meghan Markle and Barack Obama have the same birthday: August 4. Maybe that’s why Meghan took one of Barack’s birthday ideas and ran with it.

When the former POTUS turned 60 in 2021, he threw a “60 for 60” fundraiser. He asked people to donate $6, $60, or $600 to his Obama Foundation with the plan of donating the money to his Presidential Center.

Barack went beyond the monetization of his legacy by asking individuals to volunteer 60 seconds or 60 minutes of time.

In 2021 Meghan turned 40 and announced on her Archewell foundation website that she “asked 40 friends, activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders to help kickoff a global effort by contributing 40 MINUTES OF MENTORSHIP to support women re-entering the workforce.” We have no idea who these people were or if they went along with the request.

Royal Family News – Meghan Dressing Like Michelle?

According to TheList.com, Meghan and Michelle are both fans of J. Crew, Jason Wu, and Givenchy with Meghan seeming to mirror Michelle’s dress several times: “Both women have been spotted wearing a sleeveless bright yellow dress … twinning.”

Social media also speculated that during a 2021 school visit Meghan copied Michelle’s “burgundy suit” look, an outfit worn to Joe Biden’s inauguration that year.

Royal Family News – Markle And Obama Media Deals

The couple also had similar media deals. In 2020 the Markles signed a five-year, $100 million contract with Netflix while two years prior, the Obamas signed a $50 million agreement Netflix.

Likewise, both couples signed on the dotted line with Spotify; the Obamas in 2019 and the Markles in 2020.

The Obamas’ deal ended last year and this year the Markles were brutally cut by Spotify after being branded “f****** grifters.” Come to think of it, maybe the Markles and the Obamas aren’t so similar after all.
