Bond thinks that Hank and Skank are in a wait and see mode as far as their future plans. She said “My guess, though, is that they will let the dust settle and see how things pan out — they seem very happy in their Californian lifestyle and I’m sure they don’t want to unsettle their children unnecessarily.”
She added that they have a “bolt hole in Portugal” to flee to. The only problem with that is, they have bought some expensive dirt, with nothing on it—no house, no utilities, no roads. Somehow we don’t see Meghan squatting in a canvas tent with a Bunsen burner.

Bond later said that the “bolt hole” is “undoubtedly a very beautiful property.” No doubt. But how does one reside on a patch of dirt and live the good life Meghan is accustomed to?
