Prince Harry & Meghan Lost Princess Beatrice and Eugenie’s Loyalty?

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost another royal connection just when they need their contacts the most. In the past, much was made about the bond Harry has with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the York sisters, daughters of disgraced Prince Andrew.

But a source has spilled to Express that the sisters now realize who butters their toast (maybe they don’t like jam).

Royal Family News: The York Sisters Are Doubling Down

The source spilled that “Beatrice and Eugenie have firmly pledged their allegiance to the Royal Family.” This means that they have finally taken sides in the ongoing royal war started by Harry and Meghan in 2020.

Perhaps wishing to not end up on the outskirts like their father, the sisters “haven’t communicated with the Sussexes for quite a while now. They are nowhere near as close as they once were.”

They were so close that Eugenie is the only royal who has been to the Sussexes California home.

Harry and Meghan moved to Montecito after defecting from the monarchy in 2020. Furthermore, Eugenie was the only royal family member to appear in the Markle’s Netflix reality show, “Harry & Meghan.” She attended the 2022 Super Bowl with Harry, as well.

Have Beatrice and Eugenie Picked Sides?

As recently as last year, People reported that the foursome “talk constantly.” But this year has brought about massive changes within the family. Both Princess Catherine and King Charles are sidelined due to undergoing cancer treatments.

An insider told People in August: “This whole drama between him and Meghan and the rift with the rest of the family has been really stressful for the girls. It’s hard to watch because they see both sides of it.”

Royal Family News: Beatrice and Eugenie Stressed

The Express source stated that these days Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, “are very careful about what they say to friends” regarding Harry or Meghan.

The source also claimed that while the couples are friendly, the close family bond they enjoyed before the defection is long gone.

When Harry was in London for Charles’ coronation last May 2023, he stuck close by Prince Andrew’s daughters and their husbands.

Beatrice and Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, has been a bit more vocal about the Montecito traitors, saying that she doesn’t really know Meghan. Sarah told the Independent last year that royals “can’t have it both ways … You can’t sit on the fence and keep one foot in and one foot out. You’re either in or out.”

She hammered the point home by saying “Don’t cry about not being invited to weddings. You chose to leave, now go and live it — and be it.”
