Royals news reveals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in Canada with baby Archie to “reset” after a turbulent year. However, they aren’t just focusing on themselves. A source says that the couple came forward to help strangers who were struggling.

Harry and Meghan have been on a six-week leave from their royal duties, which happened to coincide with the NATO two-day summit as well as the holidays. It made people wonder what was going on, but they were simply on vacation. The couple needed time as a family to reset after a scandalous year filled with many ups and downs.

It was previously reported that their location at Christmas was on Vancouver Island, where Harry was seen multiple times hiking on North Hill.

According to People magazine, Harry and Meghan ended up coming across a couple that was struggling. So, they did what many people would do despite their royal status. They offered their help. 29-year-old Asymina Kantorowicz told the magazine, as well as CTV News Vancouver Island, about the encounter.

“We’ve been doing this hike on New Year’s Day for the past two years. We took a little picnic out and we were finishing up and trying to get some selfies with the nice backdrop when a woman came up to us and asked if we wanted her to take our photo.”

Didn’t Realize It Was the Duchess of Sussex

Kantorwicz didn’t realize who the woman was at first. It wasn’t until she recognized who was with Meghan, former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. Then it dawned on her that the woman taking the picture of her with her boyfriend wasn’t just any random stranger, it was the Duchess of Sussex.

“I couldn’t believe who it was. There was Meghan smiling at me, waiting to take the photo and it was just shock at that moment and disbelief.“

The woman said that Meghan was all smiles and seemed to be enjoying the hike with her husband and friend. She explained that Harry and Meghan seemed happy together and were down-to-earth. She added that it is her hope that they are enjoying their time on Vancouver Island.
