Prince Harry & Meghan Markle: Royal Expert Launches Scathing Attack – Why?

At the moment, mainstream media discuss Prince Harry returning to the UK as his security issues might soon materialize for him. But ahead of that, a commentator delivered a scathing attack on him and his wife Meghan Markle. Read on for more details.

A Scathing Attack

Royal commentator Neil Sean wasn’t feeling very generous about the couple on Saturday night when he talked about Meghan and Harry during his By Royal Appointment segment of his Daily News Headlines vlog. In fact, he offered a rather brutal assessment of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In his opinion narrative, Sean argued that their business brand allegedly faces serious problems. Notably, he focused on what he believes is a total failure of their private and professional strategies coming out of 2025.

Netflix & Other Fails

Firstly, the royal expert claimed that Harry and Meghan’s Netflix deal basically failed. Plus, he talked about how he believes that other projects like the Archetypes podcast and the Live to Lead series, definitely underperformed.

Additionally, Sean mentioned that the holiday special, With Love, Meghan, seemed like a flop. Then Sean opined that the “first-look” deal was just spin. “You’ve been dumped, love,” he said, summarizing the reaction from industry watchers.

Inauthentic & Word-Salad

Allegedly, the only potential pitch that had any real potential, was “a travel show,” but Netflix supposedly rejected it over high costs. Neil also believes that another reason for that was because Meghan wouldn’t allow them to feature her kids. Neil said, “Well, we like that idea, but how about taking one of your children along for maybe one of the adventures…silence, right?”

Not stopping there, Neil Sean argued that their problems all arise because they seem deeply inauthentic. And, he talked about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly chase after publicity and yet, at the same time, talk about privacy.

Moving on, he slammed their various interviews, opining that they come across as rehearsed. “They know that what they’re talking about is absolute kerfuffle word-salad nonsense,” Sean remarked. He believes they use staged moments to hide the fact they have nothing notable to say.

No Friends & Vain

The diatribe went on, and clearly, the royal commentator had a huge chip on his shoulder that he  wanted to share. He used the word “allegedly” a lot and he also noted their Christmas featured no real friends or family. So, he took it as a big sign that they’re isolated. Then, he pointed to the estrangement from Thomas Markle as a huge moral failure.

Sean also mocked their apparent vanity. Allegedly, their team tries preventing photos “of Harry’s bald spot.” And, he even mentioned alleged offers turned down for “hair transplant” deals. As for Meghan, he criticized her for never showing her natural hair, and suggested that maybe she’s “an unhappy person” who doesn’t like her own reflection.

Comparing William & Kate

Finally, having compared Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to successful Prince William and Princess Catherine, Sean summed it up by suggesting that Meghan and Harry’s story is one of self-sabotage.

Their contradictions and perceived lies have, in his view, blown their chance for a successful reinvention. So, he opined that they face 2026 with very few options and a sinking reputation.

Why The Vicious Attack?

Neil Sean, by his own admission, hates the idea of the monarchy being done away with. And, from his prior vlogs, it becomes apparent that he possibly fears Meghan Markle and Prince Harry align with certain elements of the media who want to take it down.

An old-school royal family watcher who greatly admired Queen Elizabeth, he seems particularly concerned that things don’t look bright for the continuation of the royal family.
