British royal family news reveals that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have a definite love language.
They have made it a point to break with royal tradition by handing holds and hugging public, which they can freely do now that they are living like commoners in California.
But when they were still in the UK, their PDA was a very obvious departure from royal protocol. We get it, they like each other. But there were times when their touchy-feely-ness was over the top. Now comes word that they may doing so in order to tick off the royals!
Royal Family News – Harry & Meghan’s PDA
With Megxit, Harry and Meghan made the ultimate gesture of rebellion when they defected from the monarchy. It was something Harry talked about in his nasty, NSFW memoir, Spare.
He also talked about a lack of affection as a child writing: “As a Royal, you were always taught to maintain a buffer zone between you and the rest of Creation. Even working a crowd, you always kept a discreet distance between Yourself and Them.”
Apparently that distance was an intra-familial feature as well. According to Sparey, “No matter how much you might love someone, you could never cross that chasm between, say, monarch and child. Or Heir and Spare.
Physically, but also emotionally.” Of course we have only his word to rely on, so take that nugget with a boulder of salt.
Royal Family News – Harry’s Word is Worth At Least A Jar Of Jam
What Harry was trying to say is that he never got the love he craved, but when drama queen Meghan walked into his life she slathered him with kisses, hugs, and maybe Diana’s favorite hand cream.
Meghan is so hands-on she’s been given the name The Claw, referring to her habit of having a paw on Harry at all times, steering him and pulling him this way and that.
Royal News – The Sussex Love Language
Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier told People that Prince William and Kate Middleton don’t share the same love language as Harry and Meghan: “we are much less likely to see [William and Kate] holding hands in public.” Which is not the end of the world.
To this day Meghan seems to always have a grip on her man, something that has been the subject of endless jokes and memes. So what do you think royal fans, is the Markle habit of public PDA genuine, or are they huggy-kissy as a way of annoying the royal family?
