Prince Harry Returns To UK For The Unveiling Of Princess Diana’s Statue

Prince Harry The Duke of Sussex has returned for a short trip to the UK to mark the unveiling of his late mother’s statue.
A source has revealed that the 36-year-old royal is now at his U.K home, Frogmore Cottage and that he alongside Prince William are set to attend a small event to mark the unveiling of a statue they commissioned of their mother in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace on July 1.

The insider said, “Prince Harry will land in the U.K. and isolate for five days before taking a COVID test affirming that he is negative before the events of the day.”

The unveiling is a significant event for Harry and William whose relationship has been allegedly strained since the Sussexes bombshell Oprah interview.

Previously royal expert Katie Nicholl said that though they have a long way to go in repairing their relationship, the unveiling of their mother’s statue will be a milestone in Harry and William’s relationship.

She said, “The idea that Harry’s suddenly going to come around to William’s way of thinking, and vice versa, I think is way off. I think there do need to be more conversations, there’s clearly still a lot of hurt, a lot of resentment, and a degree of mistrust on both parts,” adding, “It’s early days, but I think the hope is that come July — when we are hoping to see the brothers stand once again shoulder by shoulder to unveil the statue in memory of their mother — that the relationship will be stronger and in a better place.”

Diana’s family Will Be Attending The Event Alongside Her Sons, But Meghan Markle Will Not Be Present With Harry

Harry’s wife Meghan, who gave birth to their second child, Lilibet Diana earlier this month, is not attending the unveiling. The source shared, “Meghan has just had a baby and has no plans to travel to London for the memorial event planned for the statue unveiling in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.”
