Prince Harry Says Social Media Is ‘Unwell’ But How Is He Doing These Days?

Is Prince Harry truly paranoid or just bent on a mission to purge the world of perceived evil? It’s getting hard to tell as each day brings with it another instance of his railing on about the malevolence stalking us all from all angles, lurking in the corners, waiting in the shadows to engulf us in darkness.

The latest example came Thursday when he accused social media of fomenting a “crisis of hate.”

The business magazine Fast Company printed a piece by Harry (or his speechwriter) tagged, “Social media is dividing us. Together, we can redesign it.” According to Harry, social media is “unwell.”

What’s concerning about Harry’s words and actions of late is the quantity and quality of his diatribes. He is constantly seeing evil in the world, a point made by observers as well as insiders. Most recently his biographer Angela Levin, who wrote Harry: Conversations with the Prince in 2018, said that Harry has become a “shadow of his former self,” and is now dwelling on the negative.

She pointed to his other bio, the upcoming Finding Freedom, as evidence he is holding onto a huge pile of gripes, complaints, and perceived injustices. “Most of these grievances are incredibly petty, but when you add them up it is like a great big sandcastle,” she added.

Harry And His Wife Meghan Think Social Media Needs To Change

Harry went on, “The digital landscape is unwell and companies like yours have the chance to reconsider your role in funding and supporting online platforms that have contributed to, stoked, and created the conditions for a crisis of hate, a crisis of health, and a crisis of truth.”

According to Harry this latest project of theirs, their social media reform campaign, came at the same time as the Stop Hate for Profit movement in June. Which means another bandwagon move; wonder how long they stick with this one?

How Did Harry All Of A Sudden Become A Visionary?

Harry is willing to concede the point that across the globe people enjoy the free entertainment and information found on social media but insisted, “it’s not actually free; the cost is high.”

Once again unemployed Harry is criticizing business leaders for the job they are doing when he knows nothing about running a company or what it takes to sustain a business. In recent days he called out the travel industry saying they need to, “rebuild better.” Now comes his throwing of social media under the bus, writing, “We (who is we exactly? Surely he doesn’t mean he is actually going to roll his sleeves up) have an opportunity to do better and remake the digital world, to look at the past and use it to inform the future.”

“We (there he goes again) can—and must—encourage these platforms to redesign themselves in a more responsible and compassionate way. The world will feel it, and we will all benefit from it.”

There is nothing wrong with wanting the world to be all warm and fuzzy, but Harry how do we get there? If you spent half the time acting on all the blabbering you do we might see some progress in your Utopian ideals.

Harry Has Plenty Of Time On His Hands To Lecture The World About What It’s Doing Wrong

Yes, public business leaders deserve constructive criticism, but Harry is making a habit of calling out those in positions of authority making one wonder what his true agenda is all about. The most egregious example came when he dragged his own grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, by saying the Commonwealth has made mistakes and needs to do better. If Harry is such a genius at figuring out what’s wrong with the world why hasn’t he fixed it yet?

Someone should tell Harry that his grandstanding as a Prince, in the Land of the Free, isn’t going over very well. Nothing personal, he just doesn’t have the credentials, experience, nor the DNA to lecture Americans on how to live. Maybe a little history lesson is in order?
