As a result, Harry’s sudden change of mind in now demanding the same royal family security protection he once rejected has infuriated a nation.

For instance, some royal experts believe that Prince Harry’s demands represent a legal threat to the U.K. government. And should the Duke of Sussex succeed in pushing his security protection demands, a battle could begin in High Court between Harry and the Ministers. But as one expert pointed out angrily, “You can’t just hire services of Scotland Yard when you feel like it!”

Prince Harry’s demands for security whenever he and Meghan desire to travel to the UK result from Home Secretary Priti Patel’s decision to remove the Duke’s UK police security team. On his side, Harry believes his family cannot safely step on UK soil without Scotland Yard’s bodyguards. But on the government’s side, royal security would protect the Sussex clan if they visit the Queen. As a result, only extracurricular travel would leave Harry and Meghan unprotected. 

Prince Charles, Camilla DRAGGED Into Harry’s Backlash!

Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince Charles initially steered clear of Prince Harry’s security row. But then Harry’s journalist friend, Omid Scobie, fueled the backlash by dragging in Camilla and Charles! And all Scobie needed: A single tweet. In his post, the Duke’s supporter quoted a 2002 report alleging that Charles paid for full-time security for Camilla, then his mistress.

But that attempt at supporting Harry backfired. As one Twitter critic wrote in response, “Even if that was true, Charles is heir to the throne, not #6 [in line to the throne like Harry.” And several pointed out that Charles and Camilla fulfill their royal duties rather than “run away like Megan and Harry!”

Piers Morgan SLAMS Prince Harry: ‘Sorry, Mate!’

Many on social media agreed with Piers Morgan’s statements on the security row. The “Good Morning, Britain” former host slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, per the Express. For instance, Piers cited the timing as particularly infuriating. But Morgan didn’t stop there. 

Calling Harry’s new demands “chillingly inevitable,” the TV personality slammed the Duke for demanding police protection in the wake of Prince Philip’s death and Prince Andrew’s scandal. And after “baiting the Royal Family and the monarchy all year, [Harry] has now popped up from his mansion in California to say that when he comes back to the UK, he wants to have the British police protect him! Sorry mate, that is not how this works!!” mocked Piers.
