Prince Harry Set to Appear In Big Budget Netflix Documentary – He’s Just Following Duchess’s Example

According to insiders, Prince Harry is following Meghan Markle’s lead in more ways than one. By now, everyone knows that Prince Harry has taken a cue from his wife and has gotten involved in American politics. In fact, it’s now been revealed that Prince Harry will also be appearing in a new film. Indeed, Prince Harry has spread his views on everything from environmental issues to social justice.

With that said, Prince Harry is set to appear in a large budget Netflix documentary entitled “Rising Phoenix.” This film will feature Prince Harry discussing the history of the Paralympic Games. Of course, this falls in line with the speculation following “Megxit” as to how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planned to make money after stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family.

Prince Harry Believes In The Healing Power Of Sports

While the film isn’t out yet, a trailer is and Prince Harry appears in it. During the trailer, Prince Harry can be seen leaning back on a couch in a studio. With a green button-up shirt and relaxed gray jeans on, Prince Harry delivers a casual speech. During the speech, Prince Harry says, “There isn’t anything else in the world that can bring you back from the darkest places than sport.” The Duke of Sussex goes on to say that he feels, “Lives are being changed on the track. But lives are also being changed on the stands.” The Netflix documentary is scheduled to air on August 26, 2020.

Some believe this documentary is a good fit for Prince Harry. This is especially true since Harry’s been involved with charities such as The Invictus Games, which “harness the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for those who serve their country.”

No one has said how much money Prince Harry will pull in for his part in “Rising Phoenix” if any. However, it’s a sure thing that Prince Harry must be pleased to know that the documentary will be released to over 190 countries globally.

Harry And Meghan Still Aren’t Hollywood Stuff

Although Prince Harry appears in this Netflix documentary and Meghan already provided a voice over for a Disney documentary, it doesn’t look like the pair are set to become A-Listers anytime soon. First, most of Hollywood’s been shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Secondly, there have been no reports of Meghan Markle or Prince Harry banging down the doors of Hollywood producers or vice versa.

With that said, some believe that Harry and Meghan’s move to become involved with Netflix was merely done in imitation of Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, who did something similar following Mr. Obama’s time in office.

The one indication that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still in the media game is that they recently signed with the Harry Walker Agency in New York. For those who don’t know, this agency is one of the most well-known public speaking firms in the world, which provides celebrities with speaking engagements worldwide. To date, however, neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle has been booked for such a commitment.
