Prince Harry Set To Join These Hollywood Stars To Celebrate FirefightersPrince Harry is set for another noteworthy appearance this month. You may remember that this April has been a busy one for the 40-year-old Duke, as he jetted to the UK for his court hearing and directly visited Ukraine to meet with veterans.

However, his busy April has not ended, as he is set to join several Hollywood stars at the annual Living Legends of Aviation awards.

Prince Harry To Attend This Year’s Living Legends of Aviation Awards Despite Backlash From Last Year’s Ceremony

Per Daily Mail, Prince Harry will be joining the likes of Morgan Freeman, John Travolta, and several NASA astronauts at this year’s Living Legends of Aviation awards.

The 22nd edition of the ceremony will reportedly celebrate the firefighters who helped fight the Los Angeles wildfires.

Hosted by Travolta, the ceremony will take place on April April 25 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with Harry and Freeman reportedly scheduled to take the stage to honor aerial teams behind firefighting in Los Angeles.

According to a statement put out by the event organizers, “This memorable segment will pay special tribute to all the men and women who were involved in the aerial operations as they flew hundreds of missions in unforgiving conditions to protect and save people and property.”

Alongside this, the awards will celebrate those who contributed to aviation and aerospace, as it has done for over two decades.

Notably, Prince Harry was presented with an award for his services to the British Army last year, though it was met with a lot of backlash.

The reason for the controversies may have more to do with his divisive reputation rather than his service history, as he is known to have completed two tours Afghanistan as a forward air controller and an Apache helicopter pilot.

The ceremony also put out a statement as to why he is deserving of the award at the time, saying, “He has dedicated his life to advancing causes that he is passionate about and that bring about permanent change for people and places.”
