Prince Harry faced several challenges in planning his tell-all memoir. For instance, should the Duke of Sussex focus only on his past? Or did his somewhat unclear Spare book title permit Harry to travel to the past as well as the future whenever he desired.
As a result, the Duke Of Sussex turned his focus on his stepmother Camilla. And Harry didn’t hesitate to blast King Charles’ wife. For instance, the Duke of Sussex explained why he views his stepmom as a dangerous woman. Get more details below.
Prince Harry – Targets Camilla: Here’s Why!
The Duke of Sussex just gave a highly anticipated interview to the 60 Minutes news talk show. And in it, Prince Harry seemed to lose any desire to tiptoe politely around royal topics. As a result, the Duke of Sussex flaunted his dislike for his stepmother in his interview, noted Page Six.
And though Harry discussed a variety of topics, he used much of his 60 Minutes interview time to display his dislike of his stepmother. For instance, Harry portrayed Queen Consort Camilla as the “villain” in his parents’ relationship. And contrary to rumors that Harry didn’t know some of the shady background, the Duke of Sussex repeated his late mom Princess Diana’s comment that Camilla ranked as “the third person in their marriage.”
However, Harry also believed that Camilla needed to transform her image. And the Duke of Sussex, 38, reflected on what happened to Camilla, 75, before and after she tied the knot with Harry’s dad King Charles. Because Camilla’s and Charles’ affair became so well-known, Harry’s stepmother felt even more determined to “rehabilitate her image,” explained Harry.
Duke Of Sussex Wants Camilla To Find Happiness
However, the Duke of Sussex feels that determination turned his stepmother into a villainous creature. And ironically, Harry wrote in his memoir that he hoped Camilla could find happiness. Why? The Duke of Sussex thought that only feeling happy could make Camilla “less dangerous.”
But in his interview with Anderson Cooper, Harry explained exactly why he sees Camilla as such a threatening royal figure. “Because of the connections that she was forging within the British press,” summed up the Duke of Sussex. And he claimed to see “open willingness on both sides to trade of information.”
However, Camilla has previously coped with doubts about whether she seems appropriate for King Charles. For instance, her affair with Charles earned her a home-wrecker label. And many compared her unfavorably with the late Princess Diana. Add in Harry and Prince William begging Charles not to wed Camilla, and her future looks challenging.
