Prince Harry Sparks Debate with ‘Prince of England’ Remark in New Interview

Fresh off from his Invictus Games countdown event and the reunion tea at Highgrove, Prince Harry appeared in a new podcast to talk about his life in the US and finding himself post-Royal Family.

But the one thing that stuck out the most to fans is the way he readily listed “prince” and “duke” as one of his current occupations, despite willingly stepping down from his royal duties in 2020.

At the time, it was famously dubbed the freedom flight, though sources have since hinted that the ‘Spare’ author desperately misses his life in the UK.

Did Prince Harry Hint At A Willingness To Return To Royal Duties In His Latest Interview?

On July 13, Prince Harry appeared on the ‘Joe Marler Will See You Now’ podcast. With former English rugby union player and ‘Celebrity Traitors’ alum hosting the podcast, the series promises to “get inside the mind of a celebrity” using “unconventional” and “oddly persuasive pseudo-psychologist” methods.

On the hot seat, Prince Harry introduced himself as “Henry Albert Charles David, Duke of Sussex.”

After some back and forth chatter, host Marler asked Harry to name his occupation. By which the Invictus Games founder surprised us by running through a list, “Full-time dad.

British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke. But for today, I don’t know. What do you want?”

Well, for the current situation, he decided to settle on Duke. This, he said, regardless of the fact that he no longer represents the Royal Family in any official capacity.

Whilst plans for a return to royal life has been thrown out every once in a while, Harry is yet to officially confirm his interest.

Prince Harry On Which Famous Harry He Would Swap Lives With

Elsewhere during the conversation, Marler decided to ask Harry, who had already thrilled him, and possibly the listeners, by declaring that he is in fact not a ginger, which famous Harry he would like to swap lives with.

“If you could swap lives with one other famous Harry, just for one day, who would you choose out of Harry Styles, Harry Kane or Harry Potter?” Marler asked, referring to the famous British singer, the footballer, and the main character in JK Rowling’s global bestselling fantasy book. To this, Harry confidently declared, “Kane, on a winning day…”

“You don’t want to be Kane on a losing day, do you?” Harry said of the England captain, who were so recently eliminated from the World Cup during their semi-final match against Argentina.
