Prince Harry Struggled To Be Himself At Hollywood Event

There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry felt very out of place during a Hollywood event that he attended with his wife, Meghan Markle.

In fact, it seems like the Duke of Sussex struggled to fit in while at Kevin Costner’s private charity event at his house last week. At least that’s what one body language expert believes. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Jess Ponce, he told the Mirror that the Duke of Sussex looked like he wanted to be anywhere but at Kevin Costner’s house for his charity event with his wife, Meghan Markle. Other stars such as Katy Perry and Oprah Winfrey were at the star-studded event, too.

While Ponce was not there himself, he did review a few photos of Prince Harry and certainly had a lot to say about them.

He told the publication in an interview, “After an initial greeting, Prince Harry did his best to be both polite and chivalrous, by prompting his wife to go ahead of him. He motioned with his right hand behind her, then Meghan stepped forward and mistakenly reached for the microphone.”

Ponce also suggested that Prince Harry looked very nervous and that he looked to his wife Meghan for some cues. Harry even looked like he wanted to go home, too.

He said, “[Prince Harry] began to rub his hands as he and Meghan continued to walk forward. One might surmise he rubbed his hands in an effort to get some warmth, but the gesture could also very well be a sign of nervousness.”

So far Prince Harry himself has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that he will.

Now, whether or not the Duke of Sussex will continue to attend these kinds of events in the future remains to be seen. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
