Prince Harry Teams Up With Elton John And Other Celebs To Sue Associated Papers AgainAssociated Papers is the publisher that owns the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, and Mail Online, and Prince Harry, now not alone, is suing the papers again.

The legal action states that they have enough evidence to prove “gross breaches of privacy by Associated Newspapers”.

In reply, Associated Papers stated that the claims are “preposterous smears”. Prince Harry and his wife have won against the publisher in the past, will they do it again?

Prince Harry And Co Accuses Associated Papers Of Getting Private Information Unlawfully

Prince Harry, Sir Elton John, are among a number of celebrities suing the publisher of three prominent UK media outlets.

The allegations include:

1. Hiring private investigators to put listening devices in cars and homes
2. Commissioning people to secretly bug and record private phone calls
3. Paying police officials for sensitive information
4. Accessing bank accounts, credit histories and financial transactions
5. Impersonating people to obtain medical information from hospitals and clinics.

Defending their reputation from the claims, Associated Papers said: “We utterly and unambiguously refute these preposterous smears.”

“These unsubstantiated and highly defamatory claims – based on no credible evidence – appear to be simply a fishing expedition by claimants and their lawyers,” a statement added.

The publisher also alleged that the incident they’re being sued for happened many years ago.

Among the others included in the legal action are Sir Elton’s husband David Furnish and Baroness Doreen Lawrence, whose teenage son Stephen was murdered in southeast London in 1993.

However, the law firm, Hamlins, representing the claimants are confident that what they’ve reported “represent the tip of the iceberg – and that many other innocent people remain unknowing victims of similar terrible and reprehensible covert acts”.

“They [the claimants] have banded together to uncover the truth, and to hold the journalists responsible fully accountable, many of whom still hold senior positions of authority and power today,” Hamlins added.

This is not the first time that Associated Papers is being sued for their ethics and for their means of acquiring nasty information affecting the personal lives of celebrities.

Meghan Markle has also won a lawsuit against the Associated Papers for printing parts of her letter, which she sent to her father.
