There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry believes he made the right decision to stay in California for this holiday season instead of traveling to the UK to be with the royal family. The Duke of Sussex knows that this holiday season is a critical one for the royal family and especially for his father, King Charles. After all, he’s been dealing with his health and his cancer battle since the beginning of 2024.

That’s why there was heavy speculation suggesting Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle along with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, were going to surprise everyone and spend Christmas with the royals this year. Clearly though, that’s not going to happen.

That’s because Prince Harry doesn’t want to bring on more drama or stress than he has to. Sure, he and his father King Charles have managed to speak to one another this year for the very first time in years. But that doesn’t mean that their relationship has been repaired.

Not only that, but it’s also been said that Prince William is still very bitter about his feud with his little brother and his wife. The Prince of Wales has made it clear on more than one occasion that he doesn’t want to speak with the Sussexes, let alone be in the same room as them.

That’s why Prince Harry knows that it’s best not to poke the bear right now. As much as he would like to spend Christmas in the UK, the timing is not ideal and for Prince Harry, he doesn’t know how long it will be before that ever changes.
