Prince Harry To Avoid Politics Like The Plague Even While Going On His ‘Woke’ Journey

Prince Harry will most assuredly attempt to avoid any issue, especially in America, that casts him as a partisan. According to at least one Royal commentator, Meghan Markle has indeed influenced Prince Harry to an extreme degree, but Prince Harry won’t be seen publicly taking a strong stance on issues other than those he’s advocated as a working Royal back in the U.K. That may remain true even though Prince Harry is no longer a senior member of the British Royal Family and though the duke now lives in California in the U.S.A.

Meghan Markle on the other hand may choose to split with her husband’s British tradition. While it’s customary for senior members of The Firm to refrain from getting their hands dirty by openly supporting one side over another politically, Meghan Markle doesn’t seem to have any qualms about openly drawing a line in the sand. This could cause friction between Meghan and Buckingham Palace, but insiders say that despite calls for her to lose her titles because of her political activism, that isn’t likely to happen.

Meghan Markle  Is Likely To Vote Democrat

There is no doubt that while both Republicans and Democrats share Meghan Markle’s admiration and firmly held belief in the democratic process, the duchess has a well-known dislike for President Trump. Moreover, Meghan Markle has associations with Michelle Obama that suggest quite well, on which side of America’s political divide that she chooses to stand.

With that said, women everywhere in the United States may find themselves agreeing at least in part with some of Meghan Markle’s recent comments. As Meghan said in an interview with Marie Claire, “So many men and women have put their lives on the line for us to be heard. And that opportunity, that fundamental right, is in our ability to exercise our right to vote and to make all of our voices heard.”

The Duchess of Sussex continued her remarks, noting that, “One of my favourite quotes, and one that my husband and I have referred to often, is from Kate Sheppard, a leader in the suffragist movement in New Zealand, who said, ‘Do not think your single vote does not matter much. The rain that refreshes the parched ground is made up of single drops.’ That is why I vote.’”

In stark contrast, while Prince Harry’s political leanings are likely very similar to Meghan’s (remember he was caught saying that President Trump has “blood on his hands” during a phone call) he can’t vote in American elections. Recall that Prince Harry is not an American citizen. In fact, Prince Harry isn’t even a permanent U.S. resident yet.

With that said, Meghan Markle’s personal experiences and her private beliefs may have rubbed off on Harry in many ways. The duchess is a strong woman, and many have privately confessed that between her and Prince Harry, the brains lie with her. In other words,

Prince Harry is believed to be a hot-headed pushover who was easily swayed by his wife’s beauty and charm. There are some, however, who believe there might be worse things than to be led by the nose or wrapped around the little finger of Meghan Markle.
