Let’s just say that he’s doing what’s best for his family, regardless of what others have to say about it. Clearly, we are talking about Prince Harry as he’s made it pretty clear that he’s not interested in parading his children, Archie and Lilibet, in front of the public like the royal family does with their own kids on holidays. In other words, the Duke of Sussex is doing everything he can to ensure that his children are not only growing up in an environment that is as normal as possible, but that their privacy is also protected as well.

As much as royalists would love to see Archie and Lilibet next to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis during the royal family’s annual walk from Sandringham to church on Christmas morning, it looks like that’s never going to happen. Or at least, not on Prince Harry’s watch.

Of course, royalists on both sides of the pond had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “I think the people who criticize Harry for not offering his children to participate in royal traditions forget that he himself was once a royal child who had to participate, and maybe there’s something about them that makes him choose to keep them out of it?”

Another critic also added, “Those kids are enjoying a private upbringing away from prying journalists and crowds of strangers. Let them be.”

“Probably spent Christmas opening presents, eating chocolate and watching Rankin Bass specials.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Harry and Meghan left, in part, over safety concerns for their family.”

“They’re not about to go back until that’s fixed (if it is ever fixed), let alone send their minor children to face the danger, whether alone or (one would imagine) accompanied by their parents.”

So far the Duke of Sussex himself has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said at all. Watch this space for more.
