Prince Harry is convinced that his family cannot be safe within the UK unless he is granted police protection.
While he readily maintains a security detail in the States, he argued that it’s not enough to keep his family safe when they visit his home country because of “racism and extremism.” See what he has to say about the matter.
Prince Harry Responds To Court’s Decision To Not Grant Him Security In Emotional Letter
Harry is convinced that the extremists and racists of the world are invested in hurting him and his family and has said so in his recent letter to the UK court.
Pondering on the reason officials felt it necessary to reduce the security he normally enjoyed, Harry wrote that it’s “a position that no one was willing to put my mother in 23 years ago” before adding “And yet today, with greater risk, as mentioned above, with the additional layers of racism and extremism, someone is comfortable taking accountability for what could happen.”
He then added, “I would like that person’s name who is willing to take accountability for this choice please.” He also asked them to consider the consequences of the choice they had made.
He said: “Prove to me that someone has actually thought about the consequences without being punitive, which is how most of the decisions have been made in the last couple of months. The obvious difference aside from that is the fact that I was born into this and the threat will never decrease because of my status regarding the family.”
This comes after the announcement that he lost his high-profile bid to restore his police protection.
The 39-year-old Duke took the legal action against the Home Office after RAVEC ruled that he no longer qualified for armed security whenever he visited the country.
His legal team announced that he plans to appeal the decision, claiming that he doesn’t want special treatment, but only hopes to keep his loved ones safe.
He also called the ruling “unlawful and unfair.” It’s still possible that he might be forced to pay around £500,000 to the government, bringing his overall legal fees for the case to over a million pounds.

Hazbeen is so full of himself! He wants taxpayers to provide security for him but he chose to be a non working Royal living in the US. He truly is an out of touch narcissist who continues to invoke his Mother’s name & life stories to make himself appear to be as important as she was & still is. But he’s a poor imitation of her. I suppose she would be quite ashamed of what he’s done. ‘arry needs to get a grip & face the reality that he is just not as important as the rest of the RF.
