For those thinking that Prince Harry is going to be making a very short trip to London for King Charles’ Coronation, you may want to think again. That’s because the Duke of Sussex will most likely have to attend his court case against the Associated Papers while he’s in the UK capital.

King Charles’ Coronation is set for May 6th while Harry’s trial against the publisher of The Mirror begins on May 9th. This means that Harry will most likely spend more time in the UK than anticipated. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to People magazine, the Duke of Sussex will be expected to testify in his case against the Associated Papers and Mirror Group Newspapers.

They are the publishers of the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and Daily Express. Harry alleges that his phone voicemails were once hacked. The trial is set to run for six to seven weeks.

And while there was some speculation that Harry was going to immediately fly home after the Coronation ceremony on May 6th, that’s unlikely to happen.

London is about eight hours ahead of Los Angeles and a typical flight between the two cities is well over ten hours. There’s no way that Harry would be able to attend the Coronation in the morning and still make it to Los Angeles in time for Archie’s birthday later that evening.
