Prince Harry Will “Take Up Some Of The Slack” Amid Family’s Medical Woes

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry is a swell guy when he’s not trolling his family and the monarchy.

Right now two of the monarchy’s most beloved members, his father King Charles and his sister-in-law Princess Catherine, are undergoing cancer treatment.

The ranks of senior working royals is rather thin as a result but Harry believes he can singlehandedly save the institution he has spent four years tearing down. Who thinks like this?

Royal author Christopher Andersen told Hello! Canada that clueless Harry is “eager to return to London and help take up some of the slack now that the medical issues of the king and the Princess of Wales have thrown the monarchy into a state of crisis.” He’s the main character.

Harry is thought to be traveling to the U.K. next month for a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games and according to Express he is a speaker at a service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

The source spilled that “Both Harry and Meghan are listed as guests and a speech has been scheduled, but there is still a question mark over whether Meghan will make an appearance. Her name has been penciled in as a TBC (to be confirmed).”

And get this—“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, are also reportedly in talks to attend the event only if Meghan, 42, attends.”

The source added that “Harry is hoping that they will join him so that they can all enjoy the service, and everyone can meet up with members of his family while they are over.”

A source told In Touch that Charles is battling pancreatic cancer and after the official announcement was made, Harry flew to London for 45 minutes then flew back to California. It was reported that he demanded that Queen Camilla not be in the room when he talked to his father for less than an hour.

The source added that Harry was ready to step up and “temporarily resume his official duties in light of his father’s illness. [But Charles, Prince William and Queen Camilla] quickly shut that down.”

The idea that Harry thinks he is welcome in the monarchy after his scorched earth campaign against it underlines how few marbles he is playing with.

A source told the Daily Beast that Harry has expressed the desire to visit Kate in May “but Kate and William are reportedly not interested in having him” due to all of his drama. Maybe Harry should read about himself sometime, then he wouldn’t be the last to know.
