The idea is not out of the question. A biographer says: “It’s a ‘never say never’ situation.” According to royal author Robert Hardman, Harry might find himself back with the royal family.

He made a handful of appearances in England in 2023. He also made a surprise appearance at his father King Charles III’s coronation.

Hardman sat down for an exclusive interview with Newsweek. He believes that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle could change their minds.

There might come a time when they will carry out royal duties. However, it would only happen on occasion. It could take the couple a while for them to make that commitment again.

“Someone said to me today, ‘Could this be the moment with the royal work shortage, for Harry to step in?'” Hardman told Newsweek. “But it doesn’t work like that.”

King Charles was hospitalized for an enlarged prostate. Kate Middle was also hospitalized for a secret abdominal surgery. Both of them are expected to be out of work for months.

“What would probably help move towards [sic] that situation is if he gradually started having a sort of normalizing,” Hardman explained. “Suddenly it’s not such a big deal if Harry and Meghan are coming over to the U.K., privately with their children and having a playdate with their cousins.”

He added that it could be a “never say never situation.” Harry and Meghan’s situation is more relatable than it seems. Most families go through similar situations. Hardman feels that Harry’s relationship with Prince William would be a “trickier rapprochement.”

Prince Harry Rethinks Royal Feud

The news of Kate Middleton and King Charles’s hospitalizations has Prince Harry rethinking his feud with his family. This sudden news hit him hard. An insider told Closer Magazine that this situation remidned Harry of what’s “important.”

“Although a lot has gone on, times like this have reminded them [Harry and Meghan] that life is short and family is important,” the source said, via Mirror.

Prince Harry is “thinking about things differently.” That doesn’t mean he’s on speaking terms with his father. The last time they conversed was during a November 2023 phone call. The duke “very much still loves his father and sister-in-law.” Harry is open to reconciliation.
