Royal Family News: King Charles Picks Anne And Edward Over “Furious” Harry And Andrew, Trouble Brewing?
British royal family news reveals that King Charles has made a forceful decision in regard to black sheep kin Prince Harry and Andrew. Both have conducted themselves with unseemly behavior unbecoming the crown and now Charles has made their ostracization official—neither will ever again represent the monarchy.
He has made the choice to, “allow the Princess Royal and the Earl of Wessex to deputise for him when he cannot fulfil official duties,” effectively eliminating Harry and Andrew from fulfilling this privilege.
Royal Family News – Prince Harry Out in the Cold
A royal insider told MailOnline on the heels of the stunning news that this snub is sure to infuriate hothead Harry (is it too late to throw some more ‘truth bombs’ into his memoir, Spare?).
Yet royal watcher Angela Levin terms this move an absolute necessity to prevent the perverse princes from being, “called to step-in if the King is absent.” Can you imagine the furor if pseudo-American Harry were to preside over the UK? Or if sex-settlement Andrew were to rule the monarchy? Off with their heads!
Today Charles’ decision, “was announced in a signed message read to the House of Lords by the Lord Chamberlain, Lord Parker of Minsmere, who is the most senior official in the royal household.”
Royal Family News – Prince Harry and Andrew Never to Rule
According to Charles, “the aim of the increase was to ‘ensure continued efficiency of public business when I am unavailable.’”
Counsellors of State are allowed to deputize for the monarch if he or she is abroad on an official trip or ill. Up until today, Harry the Clown Prince and disgraced Andrew Duke of York would have been able to step into the void should Charles be in either of the above situations.
With King Charles placing his two younger siblings on the official list, the chances that either Harry or Andrew land in positions of power is virtually nil.
Royal Family News – Harry And Andrew Pushed Aside
Angela Levin told MailOnline: “Of course, it is a slight to Harry and Andrew – but there’s a good reason and it’s necessary … Harry and Meghan would be absolutely furious,” however.
But as Levin rightly notes, Harry, “lives in California, he’s stopped being a working royal, so why should he [be a Counsellor of State]? It isn’t about Harry.” Nonetheless, that is not how Me-Again and Harry will likely see it. What do you think royal fans, was Charles right to remove Andrew and Harry from the short list?
