Despite being linked to Netflix via multi-million dollar contracts, Prince Harry still holds zero sway when it comes to the future of “The Crown” series.

In 2002, when royal biographer Angela Levin talked to Harry, the young Prince told her that he watches the royal drama but showed very little interest in having it catch up to his generation.

I guess one of Harry’s least likable situations is coming to pass, as he’s finally become a character in “The Crown” that the writers can mold anyhow they see fit. But perhaps even more distressing is the way they’re portraying his mother; a topic which Harry is obviously sensitive to.
According to his biographer Angela Levin who previously interviewed him, the Prince readily made her aware that he recommends “The Crown”, when the series was yet in its second season.
He then added: “I’m going to insist that it stops because I don’t want to be on it.”

However, this sentiment of putting a stop to the show is one that he sadly couldn’t fulfill, despite his ties to Netflix, as the fifth season of the show has dropped, with young Will Powell playing him onscreen.

After several members of the royal family were placed on the receiving end of internet abuse since “The Crown’s” fifth season – aka the show’s most controversial season – dropped, Angela Levin called on Harry to “do something”.
She told The Sun: “If he has a guilty conscience he could do something about it – of course he could. They could give them their money back and walk away. But he doesn’t want to.

“How you can give your money to someone who’s doing that is too shocking. You can’t stand there and expect people to respect you when Netflix is exposing your mother and not walk away.
“He’d be a hero if he walked away. Harry should walk away.”
