In other words, Meghan Markle feels as though she has no choice but to cooperate with her husband now that they are officially moving back to the UK.

Of course, this is the last thing that the Duchess of Sussex wants to do right now. She’s already made it clear that she doesn’t want to go back to the UK, let alone ever step back on British soil again.

But for Prince Harry, he’s had enough of living in America. The California dream quickly became a California nightmare. The Duke of Sussex increasingly felt lonely and isolated and homesick for the life that he left behind in the UK.

Sure, his wife Meghan might have felt like she was thriving in California, but their marriage was anything but peaceful, and especially with Prince Harry feeling the way that he did.

That’s why he supposedly told his wife that they are moving or they are divorcing, leaving Meghan with no choice but to pack up her bags and move to the UK if she wanted to avoid an embarrassing divorce in the international headlines.

Sure, this situation might not be ideal for Meghan Markle, but for Prince Harry, enough is enough. He doesn’t want to go on living and pretending as though everything is fine when it isn’t.

What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

That’s why he made the decision to go back to the UK this past summer when he and Meghan met with King Charles. Prince Harry realized that he truly did miss the royal family and that there really is no place like home for him on this planet.
