Perhaps the one that’s turning out to be a big blow to Prince Harry is the part where big brother William will be bestowed with a new honor and he was neglected. See what a royal expert has to say about Harry’s reaction to the latest development.
Prince Harry – Not Happy Brother Prince William Will Receive Latest Military Honor
On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace announced that William, 41, will be made colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps. This is especially seen as a snub to Harry because he served two tours in Afghanistan, the second of which saw him fly in the Army Air Corps up until 2014.
If we’re really being fair, we might care to remember that Prince William has been affiliated with London Air Ambulance Charity for years now and he was a former pilot himself, so it’s not like the honor was little deserved.
However, according to expert Tom Quinn, Buckingham Palace’s latest announcement seems to have heavily affected Harry, despite the fact that he’s no longer a working royal.
“King Charles’ announcement… is a real kick in the teeth for the son who always felt marginalized and underrated,” Tom Quinn told The Mirror on Saturday. “He is said to have been in tears when he heard.”

“What makes it much worse is that the role is being given to the very man who Harry sees as the cause of so many of his problems – his brother.”
Royal Expert Claims Buckingham Palace’s Latest Announcement Was Deliberately Made While Harry Was In the UK
Before jetting over to Nigeria, Harry touched down briefly in the UK to mark the 10th anniversary of Invictus Games.
His visit and Buckingham Palace’s announcement more or less coincided, leading Quinn to observe that it was a “deliberate” move to show he was “no longer welcome.”

“They [the royal family] have decided the gloves are off and that Harry needs to realize that when you betray the family, you don’t just escape the things you hated doing as a working royal,” the expert noted. “You also lose the things you loved.”
As for Harry’s future in the Monarchy, Quinn believes there’s no going back.
“Harry cannot fail to get the message,” Quinn continued. “His last few ties to his old life are being cut and he is being set adrift, permanently.”
