Prince Harry’s Pointless Existence as Meghan’s ‘Spare’

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry has had a rough time of it since that Freedom Flight he and Meghan Markle took five years ago. They went from the world stage to affiliate links and it’s crazy how badly they’ve crashed and burned.

Remember when in 2020 the Markles were riding high on their horse—Meghan would work ONLY with A-list directors, and Harry would run for US President and do away with Freedom of Speech. Ok, we made that last one up but you get the picture.

Harry and Meghan’s High Horses

Harry’s latest blunder comes after walking away from Sentebale, the African charity he co-founded, in a huff and a puff.

Royal expert Hugo Vickers told The Sun that this reckless and petulant move has further hurt the Duke of Sussex’s reputation, but worse yet he is now “living a directionless life.”

Vickers says that Harry is thoroughly overshadowed by his wife, Meghan Markle, and indeed social media is now calling Harry “Meghan’s spare.”

If Harry refuses to work, the least he could do is pretend to be affiliated with charities, but even this thin veneer of respectability is gone after quitting Sentebale.

Harry’s Thin Veil of Respectability

Harry was trained to do charity work even if he never figured out how to make a bed or be discreet. But he and the charity’s co-founder, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, ditched their responsibilities after “a disagreement” with Sophie Chandauka, the head of Sentebale.

Since then it’s been a ‘he said, she said’ situation. And Harry is definitely coming out the worse for wear. Harry and his partner Prince questioned Chandauka’s leadership but she launched an extraordinary attack right back at Harry.

Chandauka accused Harry and the board of “harassment, bullying, and discrimination.” She also charged Harry with engaging in misogynoir.

Now Harry is in for another drubbing after a “a political leader from Lesotho claimed that Harry started losing interest in the charity after marrying Meghan and moving to the U.S.”

Of the PR disaster, Vickers said: “It is [damaging]. It’s most unfortunate, the whole thing, really – he was trained to do exactly that sort of work and does it very well.”

The Markles of Sussex moved to the US in 2020 and Vickers thinks that Harry has been isolated and “leading a rather pointless existence” since then. Do you agree with this assessment royal fans?
