We have it on good authority that there is someone poised to step into the role once occupied by the man formerly known as prince, Harry.
Royal Family News – Prince Harry’s Replacement
The royal family is known to celebrate Christmas by exchanging gag gifts. This is right up Harry’s spare alley.
After all, this the family who has everything, so why not have some fun and indulge in some juvenile humor at Christmastime?
Royal pundit Duncan Larcombe told OK! Magazine “there’s always a lot of laughter at Sandringham. In the past, Prince Harry used to be the biggest joker, but now I imagine it’s Charles, who has a very strong sense of humour.”

Among the gag gifts given in Christmas’ past include a leather toilet seat from Princess Anne to King Charles while Kate Middleton once gave Harry a “grow your own girlfriend kit” (we’ll just leave that one alone).
According to the Hindustani Times, Harry, village idiot that he is, gifted the late Queen a shower cap with “Ain’t life a b****” written on it.
Duncan said that while the royals put on a good display of propriety in public, in private that enjoy a good blue joke.

He added “I think the King will definitely be the one playing pranks and messing about with the grandchildren at Christmas. And you can imagine that Princess Anne is a bit like the naughty auntie, with everyone wondering what she might say or do next!”
In keeping with the family’s gag gift theme, the late Diana, once gifted her sister-in-law, Sarah Ferguson a wild leopard print bath mat, and Meghan Markle’s first Christmas present to Harry was a spoon engraved with the words “cereal killer.”

Nonetheless, sometimes protocol is broken, as when Kate Middleton gave the late Queen a jar of her homemade chutney in 2016.
The chutney was a recipe passed down from her grandmother, and later Kate shared that she was worried about the appropriateness of the present but “noticed the next day that it was on the table.”
The royals keep the German tradition of opening presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day. With one exception. According to ex-royal butler Grant Harrold larger gifts especially those for the kids, are opened on Christmas morning. Tell us royal fans, when do you open your Christmas presents?
