British Royal Family news reveals a close associate of Prince Harry, who asserts he has permission to represent him, revealed some sad news.
Alex Rayner stated that the prince has transitioned from being viewed as the British royal family’s great hope to being regarded as an outcast.
Rayner Knows Harry From Eton And Helped Him Set Up Charity Polo Events
Alex Rayner, who attended Eton with Harry and has assisted him in organizing charity polo events, expressed that the prince is deeply saddened.
After being compelled to step away from Sentebale, the AIDS charity he founded in honor of his mother, he shared with the Daily Mail, “He feels as though he’s lost a finger.”
Rayner also suggested that Sophie Chandauka, the chair of the charity who has leveled serious allegations of harassment and bullying against Harry, was envious of Meghan Markle’s presence.
This was at a recent award ceremony, remarking, “It seems like [Chandauka] felt sidelined because she wasn’t the most prominent woman of color on stage.”
Should the comments accurately reflect Harry’s opinions, they signify a remarkable intensification of tensions between Harry and Chandauka.
Harry Is Upset Over The Allegations
Harry’s representative chose not to provide any comments regarding Rayner’s interview; however, Rayner implied that he had the green light to speak on Harry’s behalf.
In a conversation with the Mail, he mentioned that he had recently talked to Harry, stating, “H is very happy for me to express his feelings about this terrible situation.” Rayner, who accompanied Harry to the North Pole in 2012, described Harry as “heartbroken and astonished,” adding that he is “deeply upset and wounded by the things being said about him.”
He also responded to Chandauka’s claim that Harry’s public criticism of his family and subsequent departure from royal duties negatively impacted the charity He asserted, “It’s simply not true to say that Harry’s reputation has no bearing on the charity; that argument just doesn’t hold water.”
Rayner Continued To Speak Out
Rayner continued, saying that the Duke of Sussex is “devastated and astonished” that the charity he founded as a teenager “has been held captive by the chair.”
In 2006, Prince Harry and his friend, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, created Sentebale in honor of their late mothers, Princess Diana and Queen Mother ‘Mamohato Bereng Seeiso, with the aim of supporting young individuals in southern Africa.
Prince Harry and Chandauka made their most recent public appearance for Sentebale in December 2024, in New York City, where the Duke of Sussex warmly greeted her outside the Ki Smith Gallery.
Rayner added, indeed, he has transitioned from being the shining hope of the British royal family to being viewed as an outcast, yet he continues to draw significant attention. With a television crew following him, which sponsor wouldn’t desire the worldwide visibility?
