Prince Harry’s Version of Clash With Prince William Challenged in New Book

The story of the broken necklace was perhaps one that Prince Harry told with great relish, even detailing the moment his butt made contact with a dog bowl.

In a Tonight Show segment, he even proceeded to draw attention to the great story by showing off his unbroken necklace.

Then of course, there were a few jokes here and there, and some re-enactments. “He called me by a different name” will forever be an iconic line, won’t it?

But now, we’re learning that Harry might have added a little salt to this bombshell moment to make it all the more delectable for his “wholly truthful” memoir. What exactly happened during the Commando-level argument that occurred between William and Harry for the sake of Meghan Markle?

Imagine it’s 2019 and Kensington Palace had just gotten a little tip that Meghan Markle was being horrid to staff.

Of course, Prince William springs into action, tries to talk it over with Harry over the phone, but the latter wouldn’t have it. He then takes the time to go over to Harry’s place – lil old Frogmore Cottage on Windsor grounds – and that, ladies and gentlemen, is where recollections might start to differ.

Writing in his book ‘William And Catherine: The Inside Story,’ Russell Myers, who currently serves as the royal editor for The Mirror, detailed: ‘”At the beginning of 2019, William arranged to see his brother at his home to question him directly over Meghan’s behaviour towards palace staff. While William’s account of what happened that day has never been heard, sources close to the Prince of Wales insist that the Duke of Sussex’s recollection of events was ‘massively overblown’.”

He further added: “It was a cheap shot [from Harry] to present such an argument. Tensions were running very high, and yes, there certainly were cross words exchanged that on reflection were regrettable, but the prince [William] is adamant there was no physical violence.”

Of course, about the exchange of words, Harry has already filled us in on the fact that William called his wife Meghan “rude” and “abrasive.”

However, Harry insisted that William was merely “parroting the press narrative,” without any on-the-grounds evidence.
