Per Page Six, Prince Philip couldn’t help but feel ‘wary’ of Meghan Markle when Prince Harry began dating her all the way back in 2016.

“One steps out with actresses, one doesn’t marry them,” the Duke of Edinburgh allegedly told the Duke of Sussex after he and Meghan got engaged back in 2017. Yikes.

Of course, many royal fans and critics certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “Think both Phillip and the Queen read her like a book, saw just what she was like but Harry had different ideas so lives with his mistakes now.”

“Don’t feel a bit sorry for him, they deserve each other after the way they treated his grandparents in the final months of their long wonderful lives.”

Another critic wrote, “The entire family knew Markle was not a good person BEFORE the wedding because of her abuse of staff and rudeness to family members, not to mention her callous dumping of her father when he had two heart attacks before the wedding. “

And then there was this comment as well: “I think that Philip was very astute in his estimation of Meghan. “

“For years Harry was hanging out with William and Catherine and apparently enjoying it. He wanted what they had and voila: in swoops the opportunist as the answer to his dreams. Unfortunately he had no idea who this person really was but it was apparent to everyone else.”

So far the Duke of Sussex has not made any comments about the matter although it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
