Who else thinks this is the perfect opportunity for Meghan to show how truly sorry she is for all that ish she’s talked for four years?
Royal Family News: The Wales’ Need Help
Oh wait, does Meghan speak Welsh? Because that is a job requirement. Pretty sure she does, she’s 43% Nigerian, with a dash of Maltese.
According to Vanity Fair, Princess Catherine and Prince William are searching for a “new Assistant Private Secretary to help manage some of their duties, with conversational Welsh speaking skills an essential part of the gig.
And even if you’re not looking for work, there’s still good news to be found in the job posting, as it suggests the Prince and Princess of Wales are getting ready for a full return to public life.”
The royal couple have stepped back this year due to unforeseen circumstances, firstly the cancer diagnosis that Kate received in February.
Catherine Middleton Fights Cancer
Kate Middleton has made just two public appearances since her March video announcement about her diagnosis.
Accordingly, William has also scaled back his schedule, looking after their three kids and helping his wife to convalesce. Additionally, he has stuck to official work engagements close to home.
Kate’s first appearance this year came at Trooping the Colour in June, the official birthday celebration for King Charles, her FIL. Last weekend Kate made her second appearance, handing out the men’s finals trophy at Wimbledon.
Royal Family News: The Wales’ Need a Welsh Secretary
The couple have three children: Princess Charlotte, who is nine, six-year-old Prince Louis, and 10-year-old Prince George. The kids are now on summer vacation and it appears that the family of five will enjoy some much deserved downtime as summer winds down.
No doubt the couple are hoping that a new hire is in place when they return from break so that they can hit the ground running.
The office title for the position is “Assistant Private Secretary, Wales & U.K.” The job entails “the planning and delivery for most of [Their Royal Highnesses] public engagements in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.” There is no salary listed, but a similar communications assistant job posted in March offered a salary of $32,000.
The good news is that royal experts hail the advertisement as a sign that Catherine is getting stronger and ready to return to work.
